BBC Symphony Chorus perform Christmas Bells

The BBC Symphony Chorus will perform Bernard Hughes's carol 'Christmas Bells' on Sunday 17 December at BBC Maida Vale Studios, for later broadcast on BBC Radio 3. The carol is a setting of a Longfellow poem for mixed choir and organ and will be conducted by Neil Ferris as part of a programme of modern and traditional carols. 'Christmas Bells' is available in the anthology En Bethlehem, published by Cadenza Music.

Isabel's Noisy Tummy performance

Bernard Hughes's popular Isabel's Noisy Tummy, part of the children's piece Bernard & Isabel based on classic books by David McKee, is receiving its latest performance by the City of Southampton Orchestra on 20 January 2018. Conducted by John Traill and narrated by Phil Cheesman, it will be part of the Family Concert - A Trip to the Zoo. The concert, performed at 11am and 2pm, will be at Central Hall, Southampton.
